ON November 25, police officers in Millom conducted an operation to target those involved in drug related criminality in the town.

Yesterdays activity resulted in two persons being arrested in separate incidents, one for suspicion of drug driving and possession of cannabis.

The other for drug driving and possession of suspected cocaine.

A spokesperson from Copeland Police said: "We continue to work with the Millom community to identify and target those involved.

"We also utilised our powers of seizure on the vehicles that they were driving too.

"Both suspects remain under investigation."
