Images have now been released from when HRH The Earl of Wessex attended the dinner at Lindeth Howe Hotel on September 27 2021, to celebrate the Champions’ Challenge 100 marking the Centenary of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
A group of was led on a 10k trek around Rydal, Grasmere, and Alcock Tarn returning along the side of Red Nab to Rydal Hall by Duke of Edinburgh Award Assessors, Caroline McCann and Natalie Wilson, and accompanied by Sir David Templeman Adams, renowned explorer.
The challengers all raised funds so that a total of £100,000 was raised which all goes towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
