A hospice charity is asking the community to help them in any way possible - either by donating their money, or time as a volunteer - as part of a national campaign.

Hospice at Home West Cumbria (HHWC) is pleased to announce that they are one of the thousands of organisations taking part in this year’s #GivingTuesday campaign, to be held on 30th November.

Brought to the UK in 2014 by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), this year’s #GivingTuesday offers the opportunity to give back to good causes.

Hospice at Home West Cumbria are also asking their community to support their local hospice by donating pre-loved items to their stores, or giving a gift to help fund their vital work across West Cumbria.

Ellie Mcmillan, Communications Co-ordinator adds: “Giving Tuesday provides a great opportunity to give back to the charities and causes you care about. It is so heart-warming to see the generosity from people in our local community- whether it is donating money, volunteering time or just amplifying your support, it can make all the difference to your local hospice.”

To raise awareness of Giving Tuesday, HHWC will be sharing information across its social media platforms, their website and stores.
