MUSICALS are back and live in West Cumbria this weekend.
Drury Lane, an evening of songs from the musicals proved so popular in 2019 that the organisers decided to do it again.
Covid put paid to Drury Lane 2020, but this Saturday Drury Ladies will be back.
Keri Faris, well-known local singer and actor will be joined by accomplished singer Jasmin Smith for a two-hour show, Drury Ladies.
They will have the backing of a band featuring Alex Clarke, Jed Farish, George Scott and Stephen Jackson.
The evening will be dedicated to Allan Hall, drummer in the 2019 show, who has since died.
Drury Lane was a sellout and Keri said she hoped the thought of live music and two hours of showstopping songs from the stage and screen will bring the audience back.
Drury ladies will be held at the Carnegie Theatre in Workington starting at 7.15 on Saturday.
Tickets, priced £16/ £14 are available on the Carnegie website https://carnegietheatre.co.uk/ or on 01900 602122
