A case of Avian Influenza (AI) at a wildbird rescue centre in Worcestershire has been confirmed by the UK Chief Veterinary Officer.
It is understood all birds on site will be humanely culled, with a 3KM and 10KM temporary control zone put in place around the infected premises to limit the risk of the disease spreading.
A ’detailed investigation’ is underway to determine the most likely source of the outbreak.
