FARMER and Countryfile presenter Adam Henson will unveil a packed itinerary at tomorrow's autumn livestock showcase, Borderway Agri Expo.

Probably one of the country's well-known farmers, Adam, will be attending this year's event as a farming ambassador.

Being held at Borderway, Carlisle, the premier Autumn livestock showcase for the beef and sheep industry includes the best in commercial cattle and sheep, breed society calf shows and seminars to update farmers on the latest developments in the industry.

Adam will be attending as a Lloyds Bank Agricultural Ambassador and visitors at the event will be able to meet him at their stand. He will also be meeting competitors, judging and presenting prizes at a range of competitions being held throughout the day.

Although best-known for his appearances on Countryfile, Adam is also a working farmer and a passionate conservationist, who manages a 650-hectare arable and livestock enterprise in the Cotswolds with business partner Duncan Andrews. This farm includes the Cotswold Farm Park visitor attraction, first opened by Adam’s father in 1971, with the aim to protect some rare breeds of farm animals.

Adam’s visit will start with a reception and breakfast, hosted by Lloyds Bank, followed by a walkabout through Pedigree and Sheep exhibitor areas, also Breed Society trade stands.
