NORTH Cumbria Integrated Care and the Clinical Commissioning Group are hosting online video presentations ahead of their annual meetings.

The two health organisations are jointly hosting their virtual Annual Members’ Meeting and Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 2nd November.

The event provides an opportunity for members of the public to learn more about the achievements of both organisations over the past year.

Peter Scott, chair of NCIC said: "We were pleased to see members of the Trust and the general public joining the event last year.

"While we will provide information about our activities, we are keen to ensure the focus is on answering your questions - so please submit these to us in advance if you can, or you can ask us on the day."

The event will help to explain the current financial position, reflections on the Covid pandemic and the group's plans for the future.

Some of the presentations and recordings include an overview of the year from Lyn Simpson and an overview of the Annual Accounts for 2020/21 from Michael Smillie, Director of Finance, Digital and Estates.

Jon Rush, chair of NHS North Cumbria CCG, added: "This annual event gives us the chance to update our community on our work over the last 12 months and this year we’ll be reflecting on the impact of COVID on our health and care services - what we have learned and will be keeping for the future."
