SINCE when has Court Square, Carlisle, become George Square? (caption, letters page, The Cumberland News, October 1).
As to the proposed main entrance to the Citadel Station, if it looks like the photo, it resembles entry through the dungeons – not very welcoming.
Nor are stairs upwards helpful to those with rucksacks, suitcases, prams or gammy legs.
