As Cumbria in Bloom are giving out awards this month for the Cumbria in Bloom Awards, we decided to look back into our photograph archives to see who some of the award winners were in previous years.
Here, we see some of the winners or the awards in 2013.
The awards recognise people's and groups' efforts in horticulture and work for their community.
On their website, they say: "Our main purpose is to engage with groups in Cumbria, encouraging participation in a range of competitions that promote improvement of horticulture, floriculture and environmental issues in our region.
"Closely following Britain in Bloom’s campaign guidelines, our cohort of judges visit all projects over the summer to evaluate achievement."
