Cumbria police have offered their thanks after a drugs bust in the city centre.
Officers from Carlisle Neighbourhood Policing Team, working alongside colleagues from the north area community serious and organised crime team, discovered a large cannabis cultivation in the area of West Walls Carlisle.
This followed proactive development of community intelligence and has led to a significant seizure of plants and equipment.
Such intelligence is vital to neighbourhood policing and officers would like to remind the public that reports can be made direct to ourselves, through 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 .
The public should expect a continuing police presence in the area as our investigation continues.
