A green recovery for Cumbria will be the focus of an Electricity North West event on Monday.
Electricity North West's executive team is hosting a Cumbria Stakeholder Regional Event on Monday where the public can hear about their investment in the region.
The focus is the operator's efforts to support the march towards Net Zero Carbon emissions. Electricity North West said: "Our regional event will provide you with an update on our performance this year, current and future plans, how we are supporting decarbonisation and the green recovery while providing you with an opportunity to engage and share your views and feedback with us."
Cumbria County Council's executive director for economy and infrastructure Angela Jones will speak at the event to share the authority's ambitions for the area around decarbonisation.
A spokesperson for the council said: "Our exec director for economy and infrastructure is delighted to be speaking at this event to discuss how together we can support a green recovery in Cumbria."
Details of how to register for the online and interactive event for free are available on the Electricity North West website.
