IT'S Panto Time! Oh, no it isn’t. Oh, yes it is!

It's that time of year again when things start to feel a little festive and the magic starts to bubble.

You got it right - the Panto is back at the Sands Centre in Carlisle and this year is going to knock the socks off the ones that have gone before.

Cinderella will get underway in December and Anthony Costa from Blue, Amelle Berrabah from Sugarbabes, Britain’s Got Talent finalist Danny Posthill and the one and only Robbie Dee are hitting the stage.

This year's leading lady will be Carlisle's very own Victoria Little, who grew up in Currock.

After winning Search for a Star, she found out on Friday that she would be donning the glass slippers and playing the beautiful Cinderella in her home town.

Victoria said: "It's fantastic, I couldn't believe it when I got the call. It will be amazing to be on stage in front of my friends and family but I'm a little nervous. I have told them not to tell me when they're coming to the show."

Family man and chart topper Anthony is back on the panto circuit and is looking forward to exploring the city and getting back on the stage he said: "It's been tough this last year, homeschooling for one. I take my hat off to all the teachers. But, it is going to be great getting back into costume and having some fun with everyone who comes."

Thrilled to be doing her third year on panto is Amelle who has had a number one with Tichy Stryder. As she walked in with a huge dress on and a smile on her face she said: "It's great to be back. I cant wait to get back on stage. I love walking and running so I can't wait to explore the area when I'm here."

And for his nineteenth year Robbie Dee will be one half of the ugly sisters he said: "It's great to be working with Dean Winters again, It become like a family everyone gets together and we all work together"
