POWER cuts are currently affecting 42 households across Cumbria, according to Electricity North West.
In Carlisle, 26 Electricity North West customers are being affected and 16 are currently being affected in Wigton.
Power outages in Wigton were first reported at 06.43am.
In Carlisle, issues were first reported at 06.21am.
On social media, Electricity North West said that customers are experiencing "low voltage or full power loss" and that engineers are "now making their way to the area to investigate".
In Wigton, power is expected to be restored by 09.44am and in Carlisle, the estimated time of restoration is 12.13pm.
