Fire teams attended a building fire in Workington - rescuing a resident from the blaze.
At 15:52 hours on Sunday four fire engines were mobilised with the command unit to attend a fire at Church Road, Harrington.
The fire involving the roof space and first floor of a domestic property was extinguished using six breathing apparatus, two hose reels and two jets.
One casualty was rescued by fire service personnel and assessed by paramedics. Crews were detained for two hours, twenty minutes.
