A Cumbrian football club is seeking new opponents this weekend - after the side they were due to play were affected by Covid-19.

Penrith had been scheduled to host Millom at Frenchfield Park this weekend.

But the visiting side are no longer able to make the trip to face Dave Hewson's Northern League Division One side.

A statement on Twitter from Penrith said: "Unfortunately our pre-season friendly at home to Millom this Saturday has been postponed due to Covid-19 and Millom having to isolate.

"If any team would like a game then please get in touch."

Penrith's latest friendly was Tuesday night's encounter with Carlisle United, which saw the professional side win 8-0.
