The Carlisle-born star of a Britain's Got Talent-winning music group has hit back after being subjected to cruel online abuse.
Taking to Twitter, Matt Pagan of the popular musical theatre act Collabro, shared a post that was originally sent to him over Facebook which appeared to take aim at the talented singer on account of his weight.
Explaining that medical issues have contributed to his struggles, Matt bravely contested the commenter's remark.
He stated: "I’ve been on medication since 2015 that haven’t helped with my weight.
"And yes I’m well aware that I put it on. But people like Chris are part of the problem why so many people battle on a daily basis.
He added: "Who the hell needs to tell people stuff like this?
"That’s all."
