A HOMELESS man has admitted a series of shoplifting offences which happened in Penrith over three days.
David Mark Ostle, 30, pleaded guilty to four offences.
They were:
* Stealing two packs of Stella lager worth £24 from the Spar on Sunday, March 21;
* Stealing two packs of cider dark fruits worth £26 from the Spar;
* On April 9, stealing two beef stroganoff meals and two bottles of Rose wine, all worth £27.50, from Sainsbury's in Penrith;
* And stealing a £3.25 box of strawberries from Sainsbury's on April 10.
Magistrates imposed four £80 fines and compensation to the shops affected, totalling £400. Ostle was legally represented.
