A fire crew was called out to rescue a man who had got himself stuck in some park railings today.
A crew from Carlisle West Fire Station was called out at approximately 2pm to help the man who stuck on Marks Avenue next to Haysham Park in Carlisle.
The crew used their spreaders to prise the bars open and release the man.
After he was released from the railings, the man was left in the hands of the police who were also on hand.
The fire crew was on hand for ten minutes.
