Limit: The defendant drove with excess alcohol, the court heard
A MARYPORT woman has pleaded guilty to drink driving and dangerous driving after she was involved in a road accident.
Olivia Gartland-Armstrong, 32, of John Street, committed the offences in Fleming Square, Maryport, on January 21. At the time, her alcohol reading was 67mcg in 100mls of breath, Carlisle Crown Court heard. The limit is 35mcg.
The prosecution agreed not to proceed with a failing to stop after an accident allegation.
The defendant, who works as a nurse, was given interim driving ban and told she will be sentenced on July 15 after background reports are prepared. She spoke in court only to enter her pleas.
