A letterbox was damaged in Whitehaven last week, prompting a criminal damage investigation.

The incident is believed to have happened in the early hours of the 4th of June, on Cambridge Road.

A police spokesman said: "It was reported that a letter box was damaged at an address on the street."

Officers are keen to speak to anyone with CCTV, dashcam footage or who witnessed the incident."
