A council has launched a new grant for businesses that are ineligible for the existing Restart Grants scheme.
Applications for Eden District Council's Additional Restrictions Restart Grant (ARRG) are open for a two week window, from June 14 until midnight on June 27.
After this period, applications will be assessed and businesses will be informed whether or not they have been successful.
The council said that applicants should not expect to hear back until mid-July and that they cannot provide updates on any applications in advance of this.
The fund is focussed on Eden businesses that have been impacted by the Government’s ongoing COVID restrictions, fromApril 1, 2021 onwards.
The funding for the ARRG scheme has been provided by the Government to help support businesses that have faced severe losses due to COVID restrictions, and doesn’t need to be paid back.
Businesses can apply online.
