RESIDENTS are being encouraged to raise concerns, suggestions, and ideas for policing in Cumbria with the county's police and crime commissioner.

Peter McCall will host a public surgery on Thursday, June 24 from 10am to 12pm. The public are invited to contact the commissioner online or by making an appointment for a direct telephone conversation.

Mr McCall said: “A large part of my role as Police and Crime Commissioner is to hear the views and concerns from residents of Cumbria. Listening to the public and surgeries such as these are just one of the ways that I can hear views and any local concerns about community safety. I urge people to take this opportunity to get in touch."

Anyone interested in taking part can contact Mr McCall on 01768 217734 or via email at commissioner@cumbria-pcc.gov.uk.
