People have been showing their support for England as the Euros get under way - with St George's flags draped in windows across the borough.

One football-mad family in Whitehaven have gone the extra mile - by putting up a giant inflatable England supporter in their front garden!

Frances Flanagan, whose parents live in the house on Solway Road, said they have been decorating it for the Euros and the world cup since she was a little girl.

And it's been a hit with other residents - with one little boy coming round to see it three times already.

They have also put up posters with the slogan, 'It's coming home' in their windows, as well as flying England flags outside.

Spirits will be high among England supporters as the team won their first game against Croatia at Wembley on Sunday, thanks to a goal by Raheem Sterling.

They will face Scotland on Friday and then Czech Republic on Wednesday.

Both games will be held at Wembley.

If England win their group overall, they will face either Portugal, France, Germany, or Hungary on June 29 at Wembley.

If they finish second in their group, they will play Spain, Sweden, Poland or Slovakia on June 28 in Copenhagen.

The semi-finals and final are both to be held at Wembley. The semis will be on July 6 and 7 while the final will be on Sunday, July 11.
