Striker Tristan Abrahams yesterday became Carlisle United's first summer arrival.
The former Newport, Leyton Orient and Norwich man, 22, has signed a two-year deal.
The capture of Abrahams was welcomed by one former Blues favourite - Francois Zoko, who played alongside the forward at Yeovil.
"Very good signing," tweeted the Ivorian fans' favourite (@FZoko13).
Here's how some Blues fans reacted to the news on Twitter.
Worth a punt. Good age. Good attributes for our tactics. (@parkinsonross)
Young (22) 6'1" good signing given the right support. (@EricGre35402887)
The young hungry players we signed last year worked out ok, fingers crossed Abrahams can carry that on. (@Halpinforpope)
Promising but needs experience and leadership up there too. (@fish_blues)
If he’s hungry to play then we’re half way there .. I would like to see a proper no9 signed (@Alistairwest6)
Very pleased definitely worth a chance (@matty017)
Sounds promising, although pointless if he hasn’t got experience up front with him. Strange to see a young Londoner come so far north? (@thegaffa)
Don't know anything about him but sounds a good prospect. (@scholes_peter)
It’s a start all the best Tristan, and looking forward to the ones David said were in the bag on the club site a few days ago (@keithelliott94)
A 6 foot plus speed merchant. More hoof ball to look forward to. (@KeithBloomfiel1)
