A MAN has been disqualified from driving after repeated offences.

The case of Kenya Tyrone White, 39, of Malvern Road, Handsworth in Birmingham,was heard Carlisle Magistrates Court on Thursday.

He faced one charge of speeding relating to an incident on November 13 last year.

The court heard he drove his Kia on the A685 at Brough at 52mph, exceeding the road's legal limit of 40mph.

He was found guilty via the single justice procedure, and fined £60. He was also ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and costs of £110.

White was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving license for six months. The disqualification was obligatory due to his repeat offending. He was given a further three points on his license.
