Cumbria police have warned the public not to travel over a popular Lake District road after a vehicle has blocked the route.
Hardknott Pass, near Eskdale has been left impassable after a vehicle broke down along the route recently.
A spokesman for Cumbria police said: "Cumbria Police are aware of a vehicle that has broken down on Hardknott Pass, the vehicle is being recovered on the 10th June."
The pass is blocked between Hardknott Castle and Cockley Bridge."
We are urging people not to travel on this road as it is impassable."
Drivers are expected to be able to return to the route after today, June 10.
