Richard Utting has been appointed as BID Warden for the three industrial estates which form Penrith Business Parks: Penrith Industrial Estate, Gilwilly Industrial Estate and Eden Business Park.

The three estates will see Richard liaising with BID levy payers whilst at the same time maintaining the public areas throughout Penrith Business Parks.

This will be done through the clearance of litter, weeds, and other detritus in public areas which impacts on the visual appearance of the estates.

A spokesperson for the BID board commented by saying: “The appointment of a BID Warden to Penrith Business Parks is part of our commitment to our levy payers to ensure that we have a clean and tidy environment across all the estates.

“This is in addition to the BID’s agreement with Eden District Council in regard to grass cutting, litter collection and road sweeping for areas which they are responsible for.

“We are aware that there are areas which require constant attention but with the appointment of a BID warden and by working closely in partnership with Eden District Council our BID levy payers will hopefully see considerable improvements over the weeks and months to come.”
