A man has been fined for stealing perfume.
John Burgess, of Newlaithes Avenue, Carlisle, pleaded guilty to the offence on Friday at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court.
On October 26, 2020, the 36-year-old stole a bottle of tester perfume, worth £12.99, from Jack and Jones.
He was fined £40, and instructed to pay compensation of £12.99, a victim surcharge of £34, and court costs of £85.
