ALLERDALE Borough Council have warned people about using their recycling centres properly.
The warning comes after a number of rubbish bags were left next to bins at one of its smaller recycling sites in Cockermouth over the weekend.
A number of bags and boxes of rubbish were left dumped at the corner of the recycling site instead of being properly placed in the bins provided .
Allerdale Borough Council has warned that any rubbish found lying around on the ground at these small recycling sites is classed as fly tipping,
Anyone caught leaving any bags of rubbish at the sites may find themselves facing a fine if caught by the council.
