Readers have paid tribute to Jordan Banks, who died after being struck by lightning earlier this week.

On Tuesday (May 11), the nine-year-old Blackpool boy was struck while on playing fields, and was taken to hospital by emergency services.

Sadly, he died a short time later, and tributes have been pouring in across the country.

Jordan's family spoke of the "beautiful boy", saying: "His laugh, that infectious smile, golden curls, he was our everything. Wise beyond his years, caring, considerate, generous and so loving. Our love is endless. Goodnight beautiful boy. We thank you all for your kind words and support.”
