With restrictions slowly easing off, Carlisle Sea Cadets have been given the greenlight to open soon.
Swimming tests and sailing weekends are currently in the final stages of planning and their headquarters have been given a thorough clean to ensure the safety of everyone returning.
A new unit management team and fresh instructors are keen to deliver the sea cadet experience for current and future cadets.
A spokesperson said: “If you’re aged between 10 and 18, and want to see what we have to offer and learn some life skills while being proud to be part of a unique experience, we would love to hear from you.”
The charity is urging for support from businesses to aid the sea cadets on their journey. They are asking for all interested parties to get in touch via their Facebook or website.
