The Quiet Site glamping business near Ullswater is welcoming the first guests into its brand new energy positive 'Ginger bread houses'.
The glamping pods are unique in that they produce more energy than they use.
The roofs are 100 per cent solar PV panels and the heating is provided by a ground source heat pump.
