IT IS suspected that a motorhome stolen from a South Lakeland dealership was removed by another vehicle, police have said.
The incident of theft at Ings, near Kendal, occurred between 7am on Sunday, May 2 and 10am on Monday, May 3.
A Cumbria Constabulary spokesman said: "It was reported that the motorhome, a cream Fiat Carthago, may have been removed by another vehicle."
The spokesman said the vehicle used to remove the motorhome was possibly a low loader, flatbed or recovery-type vehicle.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101, quoting log number 34 of May 4.
