Delays are expected on Avanti West Coast services
A POINTS failure has caused significant disruption on the railways with trains at a standstill.
The issue, located between Motherwell and Lockerbie, is affecting the Avanti West Coast Line between Glasgow and Carlisle. The line towards Carlisle is currently blocked.
Southbound trains running through the stations may be delayed by up to 45 minutes, with disruption expected until 10am.
