Mountain rescue teams in Cumbria have been called to a number of different incidents lately.

Call outs include a man crawling for help after a fall and a paragliding accident.

We've rounded up the latest incidents the teams were called out to.

Rope assisted

A man had to be rope assisted down from a hill after getting into difficulty while out walking.

Keswick Mountain Rescue had to be called when a man ascending Barf, "by one of the original and particularly unpleasant paths to the summit" got into difficulty.

Striding Edge

A Cumbrian mountain rescue team assisted a 60 year old who had fallen on Striding Edge.

Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team were contacted by Cumbria Police at 2pm on Saturday.

Blencathra paragliding accident

Mountain rescuers were called to a Lake District fell after a paraglider was injured in a 'heavy landing'.

Keswick Mountain Rescue member say the casualty was hurt in a heavy landing after his machine suffered a "partial canopy collapse."

Man crawls for help after fall

A man has been left with multiple injuries after falling down a crag and crawling for help.

Keswick Mountain Rescue we called to action after walkers discovered the injured man.

Mountain biker crash

The air ambulance and Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team were called out after a 21-year-old man crashed his mountain bike.

The incident happened on April 10 in Setmurphy Woods.

Knee injury

Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team were called out after a 39-year-old woman from London got injured on Hallin Fell.

The incident happened on Tuesday and the team got the call at 10.50am.
