NEW data has revealed the most expensive streets in Carlisle.
It comes as the average detached property in Carlisle is estimated to cost about £253,633 but some properties in the more expensive streets can sell for more than £500,000.
Using data from property experts, Zoopla, we've looked at where the most expensive streets in Carlisle are and what it would cost to buy a house there.
Here are the five most expensive streets in and around Carlisle, according to ‘Zed Index’ estimates (average property value) from Zoopla.
Holme Meadow, Cumwhinton, Carlisle
According to Zoopa, the average price for property in Holme Meadow stood at £469,244 in April 2021.
This is a rise of 1.58 per cent in the last three months (since January 2021) and rise of 9.76 per cent since 12 months ago.
In terms of property types, flats in Holme Meadow sold for an average of £269,570 and terraced houses for £193,609. The data is according to the current Zoopla estimates.
Wellgate, Scotby, Carlisle
Zoopla says the average price for property in Wellgate stood at £447,437 in April 2021.
This is a rise of 1.58 per cent in the last three months (since January 2021) and rise of 9.76 per cent since 12 months ago.
In terms of property types, flats in Wellgate sold for an average of £269,570 and terraced houses for £193,609. Again, this is according to the current Zoopla estimates.
Longburgh, Burgh-by-Sands, Carlisle
The average price for property in Longburgh stood at £442,620 in April 2021.
This is a rise of 1.73 per cent in the last three months (since January 2021) and rise of 11.91 per cent since 12 months ago.
In terms of property types, flats in Longburgh sold for an average of £166,085 and terraced houses for £208,732. The data is according to the current Zoopla estimates.
Robins Wood, Stanwix, Carlisle
The average price for property in Robins Wood stood at £436,669 in April 2021.
This is a rise of 1.59 per cent in the last three months (since January 2021) and rise of 8.95 per cent since 12 months ago.
In terms of property types, flats in Robins Wood sold for an average of £159,786 and terraced houses for £162,651. The information is according to the current Zoopla estimates.
Etterby Scaur, Carlisle
The average price for property in Etterby Scaur stood at £425,164 in April 2021.
This is a rise of 1.59 per cent in the last three months (since January 2021) and rise of 8.95 per cent since 12 months ago.
In terms of property types, flats in Etterby Scaur sold for an average of £159,786 and terraced houses for £162,651. This is according to the current Zoopla estimates.
