PROPOSALS to chop down trees in Alston have been submitted.
Earlier this month Eden District Council received an application to fell two Sycamores and two Ash trees at a property on Station Road.
The applicant is listed as Barbara Sharp at the same address.
It's understood that the trees are dislodging a wall at the property.
A public consultation on the proposals runs until April 22.
According to the council's website, consultees have been notified on April1.
The target date for a decision is May 10 and agents are listed is Collins Gardening & Tree Services.
The trees are not subject to a council preservation order but they are in a conservation area.
