A woman has been found dead at a house in Carlisle.
Police were called at about 9.45 this morning to a report of a sudden death at an address on Brisco Meadows, in the city.
It was reported that a woman in her 80s was found deceased at the scene.
The North West Ambulance Service confirmed they were called at about 9.15am and attended with two ambulances.
The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
A file has been passed to the coroner.
