GRITTERS will be out in force tonight as freezing temperatures hit the county tonight.
The Met Office has predicted that temperatures will hit freezing about 3am onwards.
A Cumbria County Council spokesmans said:"There will be freezing road surface temperatures overnight in Cumbria so we’re treating multiple priority routes countywide."
The gritting team aims to have all roads gritted by 8am.
Gritting routes are as follows:
