Scarness Outdoor Pursuit Centre at Scarness, Bassenthwaite, owned by Cumbria County Council, has been given approval by Lake District National Park to operate year round.
The centre were previously not allowed to open between October 31 and February 28.
Now the centre can offer year-round sustainable tourism options at the location, which includes a camping site.
