A PLAN submitted to Carlisle City Council has outlined a vision to turn a former beauty salon into a holiday let property.
According to planning documents, the historic Grade II listed situated building on Earl Street will be completely redecorated in order to realise the plans.
The front of the house will be redecorated alongside the installation of a new bathroom inside the property.
In a letter addressed to Carlisle City Centre, it was stated the applicant already ran a number of short-term lets and wished to “offer guests a further stop”on walks to Hadrian’s Wall nearby.
Also outlined is a plan to rent out the whole property to “parties of up to three as opposed to operating with a B&B style encompassing individual rooms.”The application can be viewed at carlisle.gov.uk. Ref: 21/0106
