Officers are appealing for information after a serious assault in which a man sustained a fractured eye socket near Penrith town centre.
The assault took place close to the park on Mill Street, Penrith on December 27, 2020 at about 7.30pm - however details of the incident have only recently been reported to the police.
It is reported that a man was approached by three men and assaulted by two of the men.
The three men are described as white and in their late 20s.
All the men were wearing jeans and spoke with a Manchester accent.
The victim sustained a fractured eye socket from the assault.
