A INITIATIVE to encourage people to take up sign language has been launched.
The Signs4Life scheme has been set up to help people to engage with children and adults with hearing difficulties.
Hana Riaz,the organisation's partnerships officer, said: “There are more than nine million hearing-impaired people in the UK.
"We wanted to open our programmes to the general public, especially now that many people are stuck at home during this third lockdown."
The organisation if offering free six week programme, which you can enjoy and access from the comfort of your homes, delivered through Zoom”.
