CUMBRIA 4x4 Response team has announced it's taking part in the Co-op supermarket's Local Community Fund.
The team provides transport in adverse weather conditions to NHS staff and delivery things like prescription and food to inaccessible locations.
We work in adverse weather to move people and resources when specialist vehicles are needed, whether it be food to those in need or rescuing people from snow and floods.
The fund helps pay for local projects Co-op members as they shop in stores.
So far the fund has raised £553 for digital radios "to enable reliable communication between the communities and our team".
Recently the organisation helped district nurses to make housecall during heavy snowfall in Alston Moor.
In a statement the team said: "Do you have a Co-op membership card?
"You can use it to support what we do.
"You can vote for us and we receive funding from the Co-op.
