Firefighters say an incident they were dealing with in Carlisle city centre has now been resolved.
Carlisle East Fire Station said it was called out by a resident who was concerned about a faulty light fitting at a property on Victoria Viaduct.
Firefighters isolated the fuse and offered advice to the woman.
Residents were asked to avoid the area while firefighters made sure the scene was safe.
They were in attendance for about 25 minutes.
