An air ambulance has been called after reports a patient had fallen near to a Tesco superstore.
A Great North Air Ambulance was seen landing near to Tesco in Workington shortly before 5pm today (January 24).
A spokesman for the Great North Air Ambulance Service said: "We were called to Workington to reports of a fall.
"A patient was treated at the scene by ourselves and North West Ambulance Service before they were taken to hospital by road, accompanied by our team."
The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
No details about the patient were revealed.
