Managers of wet-led pubs in Cumbria have until January 31 to apply for a one off Christmas Support Payment of £1,000.
Councils are urging wet-led pubs in the borough to apply for this government grant scheme.
Wet-led pubs derive under 50 per cent of their income from food sales.
Businesses in receipt of the other Local Restrictions Support Grants (LRSG) or the Additional Restrictions Grant, can also receive this grant.
Businesses must have been trading before the national restrictions were imposed on November 5, 2020.
