A TEMPORARY road closure has been put in place to allow United Utilities to carry out utility works.
The work which starts today in Silloth is expected to take about five days to complete.
The works will be carried out from The Crofts, Silloth from about 140m north east of its junction with the B5300 extending in a north easterly direction for about 50m.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times and a suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and made available via the unrestricted sections of The Crofts and the B5300.
