A primary school has been forced to close due to a broken boiler.
Pupils of Pennine Way Primary School, at Harraby, Carlisle, are remaining at home today (December 9), after the school had issues heating the building as a result of the faulty boiler.
A spokesman for the school confirmed the closure would only last a day, adding: "We can confirm the school is closed today because of the boiler, but there is currently someone here to repair it."
