THREE new deaths have been reported in patients with coronavirus.
The North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust - which operates the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle and the West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven - announced three deaths in yesterday's NHS England announcement.
The fatalities were recorded on December 3, December 4 and December 6.
This takes the total number of deaths in patients with coronavirus at the trust since the start of the pandemic to 227.
Here's a breakdown of the data for the past seven days for the week ending December 3:
Allerdale - 67 (68.5 cases per 100,000 people)
Barrow - 52 (77.6 cases per 100,000)
Carlisle - 73 (67.2 cases per 100,000)
Copeland - 28 (41.4 cases per 100,000)
Eden - 27 (50.7 cases per 100,000)
South Lakes - 96 (91.4 cases per 100,000)
